鋤田正義
SUKITA Masayoshi
1938年福岡県生まれ。ドキュメンタリーから広告、映画、音楽まで幅広く活動。
写真集に「T.REX×1972 SUKITA」、｢氣--デヴィッド・ボウイ写真集｣、沢田研二写真集「水の皮膚」他多数。映画では寺山修司「書を捨てよ、町へ出よう」撮影監督、ポール・シュレーダー「MISHIMA」,ジム・ジャームッシュ「ミステリー・トレイン」、是枝裕和「ワンダフル・ライフ」のスチール写真他。
Born 1938 in Fukuoka, Japan. As a photographer and a movie cameraman, his career has been expanding broadly from documentary, portraits of musicians, advertisements, to film.

まるでギャラリーの様に。大きくなって写真の道へと進んでいった。
まだまだB&Wが主流の時代だった。
その後もB&Wに拘りながら時は経っていった。
今、カラーも撮ってはいるけど、まだまだB&Wに拘って自分の世界を追っている。
2011年3月11日に東日本で大きな地震災害が起きた。
東京で暮らしている自分にもわずかながら内側に変化が起き出した。
そして東京を撮っている。感じる身の回りから少しずつ・・・

When I was a child, the alcove at my home was decorated with a black & write hanging scroll as always. It was just like at the art gallery. I decided to start my career as photographer, the black & write photography was the main stream at that time. I have been devoted the monochrome expression since then. Now I am still questing for my world with monochrome, even take color photography from time to time.
On March 11th the tremendous earthquake hit the eastern district of Japan. I began to feel something surely changed inside myself. Now I am living in Tokyo, I focus on Tokyo, some little and familiar things surrounding my life.
